The old Italian airline, Alitalia, went bankrupt. But recently, Italy formed a new airline called ITA Airways. And I really liked it. I flew business class and it was lovely. The configuration of the seats was very comfortable and the flight attendants were extremely kind and attentive.

The food was in my opinion above average with several courses. For those who love good wine, their choices were amazing.

The entertainment available was above par with many music channels to choose from, and an adequate number of recent movies.

Going through customs was a breeze and our driver met us and took us to the Sorrento.

If you’re planning a trip to Italy this year, be prepared for a lot of people. The world has opened up again, and everyone seems to be traveling, especially to Italy.

This post is a delightful glimpse into the rebirth of Italian aviation—airlines tickets may change hands, but it’s the onboard experience that truly defines a carrier. Your review of ITA Airways’ business class is both personal and persuasive, especially with highlights like attentive service and a standout wine selection. For travelers inspired to explore premium cabins beyond Italy, the best way to book business class flights from the U.S. to Europe is right here. Because when comfort, cuisine, and care come together, it’s more than a flight—it’s a journey worth savoring.
