A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS BY A DEAR COUSIN

Sometimes people are so thoughtful. After having a lingering chest cold and coughing up a lung for several days, I received a thick packet in the mail. It was hand addressed to me. I love receiving mail. Seldom happens these days of instant communication.

My cousin, Betty Shorner, sent me my direct genealogical line from me right down to my ancestors in Germany. She had read about doing my DNA and its results and thought I should know the German ancestry from my great grandmother, Ruth Katherine Hessler.
